DESCRIPTION High end dual channel all tube acoustic guitar combo amplifier,using point to point wiring, low noise techniques and the best components available.

Good acoustic flattops deliver an extremely open and natural sound which is normally ruined by mediocre solid state amplifiers. We strongly believe that these instruments can only deliver his beautiful sound through a well executed 100% tube amplifier.

Our model 4 is really one of a kind.

Instrument channel can acomodate either active or passive piezos, it has a simple but effective tone shaping capabilities delivering a natural and controlled warm acoustic sound, furthermore the passive input can be used by a conventional electric guitar both with single coils or humbuckers

Mic channel is a true high end tube microphone preamp as rarely seen in instrument amps. It is the perfect answer for those musicians who rely in condenser or ribbon mics for an accurate sound. Aditionally Mic channel has also a line input which can be used for wide bandwidth instruments like bass guitars or electric pianos. A 3 position high pass filter rotary switch helps controlling the problematic low frequencies and the feedback problems associated. If this where not enough, the mic signal can be muted and sended through a transformer balanced line out to a PA monitor system or any desired destination.

Finally like all the other models the amplifier has a switchable Triode/Pentode section, tube based reverb and an all tube parallel effects loop (only piezo channel).

Like the model 2 the open and transparent tone of the amplifier is achieved using techniques and components derivated from the high end HI-FI field. These include the use of full bandwidth output transformers, polypropilene coupling capacitors, low noise resistors, silver stranded teflon wire, non magnetic inox chassis and low impedance choke loaded power supply with plastic caps bypassing electrolitycs.

With a luxury wood cabinet, a cast frame speaker and built like a tank, the Red Note Melo amplifier is an unique musical instrument; a blend of simplicity, reliability, musicality and beauty bringing to the musician many years of musical satisfaction.
